Welcome to the dance floor
We are a dance school devoted to spreading the love of swing and teaching its styles in Vigo and across Galicia. With us you'll learn the best-known African American dances from the 1920s to the 1950s: Lindy Hop, Collegiate Shag, Solo Jazz, Balboa and Boogie Woogie.
If you love swing music, rock'n'roll, rhythm & blues and boogie woogie, come and dance with us! You don't need a partner or any experience: just a wish to have a good time.

What do we dance?
Each style has its own personality, but they all share the same things: great music, a positive attitude and plenty of rhythm. Click on “see an example” to watch each style in action.
Lindy Hop is part of African American culture and is the best-known swing style. It's danced in couples and was born in the 1920s, when jazz big bands were at their height in Harlem (New York). It's the style that brings all swing dancers together on the dance floor.
A solo swing style. Like Lindy Hop, it belongs to African American culture and emerged during the golden age of the big bands in New York. Solo Jazz lets you interpret swing music and express with your body what it makes you feel. With us you'll learn the original steps of the swing era and later innovations, both in choreographies and in improvisation.
Boogie Woogie and Rhythm & Blues are later swing dance styles that developed mainly in Europe, influenced by Lindy Hop's appearances on the big screen. They're danced to boogie woogie, rhythm & blues and rock & roll music. Like Lindy Hop, they're full of energy and footwork that gives them a cheerful, playful feel.

Here is our weekly timetable in Vigo.
Levels: each course is split into levels so you can progress step by step. In Beginner we start from scratch, learning the rhythms, steps and moves. In Intermediate we build new moves on top of the basics. In Advanced we combine everything we know to explore our own way of moving and grow as dancers. Multilevel classes suit both complete beginners and those who want to keep improving.
